Your Students are the people whose tutoring you're following in Bobbin — usually your children or the learners you're responsible for. Everything in Bobbin is organized around them.
Viewing your Students
From the navigation menu, open the Students page to see the Students linked to your account. If you have more than one Student, they'll all be listed here.
Click on a Student to open their profile. From a Student's profile you can see:
Their basic details
Their Progress Reports (see the Progress Reports article for more)
A way through to the Lessons they're part of
You only see the Students linked to your account. If a Student takes Lessons with other learners in a group, you won't see those other learners' personal details — only your own Students.
Students linked to more than one person
A Student can be linked to more than one payer - two parents, for example, or a parent and a school. Where that's the case, each of you sees your own contact details on that Student's profile, not each other's.
Email preferences are also held separately for each of you, so you can receive Lesson Reports for a Student even if the other person has turned theirs off.
Students without an email address
Not every Student has an email address in Bobbin - for younger learners, many tutoring providers deliberately don't add one. A Student without one can't sign in themselves and won't receive any emails from Bobbin, but nothing else changes: they still join Lessons as normal, and their Lesson Reports and Progress Reports still come to you.
Note: Student details in Bobbin are managed by your tutoring provider. If something looks out of date or incorrect — their name, an email address, or which Students are linked to you — contact your provider and they can update it.
