The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in to Bobbin. It gives you an at-a-glance view of what's happening today and what needs your attention, so you can jump straight into the right place without searching around.

At the top of the Dashboard, you'll see a personalized greeting along with three key numbers:

The Today's Lessons section shows every Lesson scheduled for the current day. For each Lesson, you can see:

This updates automatically so you can monitor attendance in real time without leaving the Dashboard.

If a Student refreshes the page, switches device or briefly loses connection, they stay marked as present rather than flicking back to red — so you don't need to chase someone who's already in the room.

If you have any Lessons in the Awaiting Report stage - meaning the session has ended but you haven't yet completed the Lesson Report - these will be flagged in your attention count. Click through to the relevant Lesson to complete the report.

The count is a true total rather than a capped figure, so if it says you have a lot outstanding, that's the real number.

A brand new Bobbin organization starts with one sample maths Course and Lesson, shown on its own card on the Dashboard. It's there so you can see how a Course, Lesson and Report fit together before real teaching arrives.

Sample data is kept out of your Lessons, Students and Courses lists, and out of search, so you won't run into it while working. Your agency can remove it whenever they like.

The Bobbin mobile app can send you a push notification each day summarizing the Lessons you have coming up, which saves opening the Dashboard to check. It's switched off unless your agency has enabled it.
